WHAT'S THIS?
Shoot N' Scoot is a game made with Aseprite and Godot! And wow is it unimpressive!
It's pretty much just an arcade shooter; Get to 70 points, earn pints by hitting (yes, HITTING, not killing.) enemies, and there are three cliche as hell ORIGINAL enemy types!
All the sprites, sound and music are mine, though my sister helped with the player.
HOW TO PLAY
Use the arrow keys to move, "Up" or "Z" to jump, and "X" to shoot. Your bolts don't go very far.

Great game, but the jumping is what got me
This is
an unimpressivea pretty decent game! ;-)Here is some personal feedback!
POSITIVE
- Simple but nice graphics
- Good music and sound design
- Direct and good controls
NEGATIVE
- Goal and setting of game not explained in the game anywhere
- Platformer controls are not required for winning, you can just stand on the middle platform and shoot left/right
- Enemy Death animation is unclear (doesn't communicate that the enemy is dying)
IMPROVEMENT IDEAS
- Enemies should could stop movement when they die and flash bright when they get hit

I really tried to get the player to move around the level with the level design, but I guess that didn't work very well.
One of my other friends commented on the death animation too, so I've kept that in mind.
